CAMDEN – The Camden County East Branch NAACP will honor nine for vision, valor, and achievement at its annual Visionary Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the The Palace in Blackwood.

The awards this year will be presented to:

*Visionary Leader Awards: Melanie Burney – Award-winning journalist Philadelphia Inquirer

*Dr. Sandra Strothers – President, Lawnside Education Foundation, Inc.

*Paula Watkins – Asst. Dean, Admissions; Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine

*Kathleen Echevarria-Medley – Community Activist/Entertainer

*Rev. Floyd White, III- Woodland Community Development Corp; Camden County Office of Veteran Affairs

*Dianne L. Hyman, MSN,RN,OCN,CN-BN- Transition Care Manager, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper University Hospital

*Fatima Heyward- President/Co-Founder; South Jersey Young Democrats Black Caucus

*Valor Award: Cydney Thomas, Haddon Heights High School, 2019

*Paul C. Harris, Sr. President’s Freedom Fighter Award: Staff-The Force Report, NJ.Com
