“This year’s theme draws inspiration from Dr. King’s 1964 Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech, ‘The Quest for Peace and Justice,’ assembling a panel of distinguished community leaders to explore how communities can come together to enhance the quality of life for all by addressing some of the most pressing issues of our day: racial reconciliation, justice, education and economic disparity,” said an Eventbrite statement about the program.

After the panel discussion, the nonprofit will host community service projects in various locations in South Jersey. At 6 p.m., a private screening of Just Mercy will be held at the Cinemark 16 and XD, 711 Evesham Road, in Somerdale.
