Atlantic City NAACP Hosts Virtual Candidates Forum

ATLANTIC CITY — The Atlantic City NAACP will host its Virtual Candidates’ Forum over two nights: Monday, Oct. 12 and Thursday, Oct. 15 from 6-9 p.m.

The forum will be livestreamed on the NAACP’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NAACPAC. The Candidates’ Forum will be a townhall-style format and take place virtually through Zoom.

Atlantic County residents and other interested community members will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates. The following candidates have been invited to participate:

October 12

  • Mayor (Atlantic City)
  • 2nd Ward (Atlantic City)
  • Atlantic City Board of Education
  • Atlantic County Sheriff

October 15

  • Atlantic County Surrogate
  • Atlantic County Freeholder, At-Large
  • Atlantic County Freeholder, District Three
  • U.S. House of Representatives, 2nd Congressional District

Written questions will be prepared by the Atlantic City NAACP members and no questions will be taken during the livestreamed event. Additionally, the Atlantic City NAACP members will moderate the Forum.
