ATLANTIC CITY — The City of Atlantic City in collaboration with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) and OCEAN, Inc. will present Asian Consulate and Resource Day at the Atlantic City Convention Center from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on June 2.

The Asian Consulate will provide resources at the event and attendees will be able to meet Consulate staff. Tables will be set up with information in various languages.

Organizers said this will be the first event of its kind in Atlantic City.

“This event has many meanings to me,” said Mimi Nambo, who has helped lead the organizing of the historic event. “This is why I am happy to organize this event and together bring solidarity to stop the Asian Hate. We hope to educate people like me about Asian cultures and the different countries.

“We will provide resources and information about the local Asian community. Most importantly, we hope this will bring countries, communities and people together,” she said.
