The Hispanic Association of Atlantic County is hosting the event with sponsorship from CRDA, the City of Atlantic City, and with Organization Azteca, NJDCA, and the Atlantic City Initiatives Office.

Bueno, a 2015 winner of the “Lo Nuestro Awards,” will join a lineup of diverse Latin entertainment, including mariachi, salsa, cumbia, and folkloric dance groups.

The festive family event includes a children’s entertainment area, authentic Latino food, and vendors. In addition, there will be organizations providing information and resources on health, social services, education, and career opportunities.

Entry for the event is free of charge; however, there is a $10 parking fee. HAAC is requesting attendees to register at the festival’s website (www.aclatinofest.com). Information and registration to become a vendor or to volunteer are also available on the festival website.

Highlighting the great culture and leadership in South Jersey’s Hispanic community.

The annual Latino festival had been a community tradition for 15 years in Atlantic City until 2007. After an 11-year absence, the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County (HAAC) resumed in 2018.

HAAC revived the festival tradition with the support of CRDA and the City of Atlantic City. In 2019 the AC Latino Festival was a huge success drawing approximately 7,000 at Bader Field.

While the event did not occur in 2020 due to COVID-19, organizers expect a similar turnout for this year’s festive event.

While the festival is an outdoor event and masks are not required, organizers are encouraging mask-wearing. In addition, AtlantiCare will be on-site offering information and free walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations from 2-6 p.m.

About HAAC: Our mission is to promote the diverse Hispanic cultural heritage, while advocating for policies and educational opportunities that affect Hispanics.
