MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross Keynotes Rowan’s MLK Day Breakfast

GLASSBOROTiffany D. Cross, a journalist, political analyst, best-selling author and host of “The Cross Connection” on MSNBC, will deliver the keynote address during Rowan University’s 36th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast & Day of Service Monday, Jan.17.

The program, which celebrates King’s life, legacy and leadership, supports students by raising money for the William H. Myers Memorial Scholarship Program.

The event will also feature 6ABC News anchor Rick Williams as master of ceremonies.

The scholarship breakfast will take place in Eynon Ballroom in the Chamberlain Student Center on Rowan’s Glassboro campus starting at 9 a.m., followed by Day of Service programming at 11. The event will be co-sponsored by Rowan’s Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Rowan University Foundation.

Cross, a 2020 resident fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics, is a longtime cable news veteran who previously served as D.C. bureau chief for BET Networks, as an associate producer for CNN and as a freelance field producer. She also covered and worked on numerous local, state and federal campaigns.

A co-founder of The Beat DC, a national platform intersecting politics, policy, business, media and people of color, Cross attended Clark Atlanta University and lives in Washington, D.C. “The Cross Connection” airs on Saturdays at 10 a.m. EST on MSNBC.

Tickets to the breakfast are $75 per person, $600 for a table of eight and $25 to attend virtually.
