Debra White Becomes Director of Business Services for Atlantic City’s Chelsea EDC

ATLANTIC CITY — The Chelsea Economic Development Corporation announced on Friday that Debra White has become its new director of business services.
White’s responsibilities include ensuring, educating, and advocating initiatives to policymakers, funders, and community leaders to support economic growth in the business community.
White is a successful business owner and has experience in assisting business owners with permit applications, grant applications, and funding applications.
A native Philadelphian, White has extensive knowledge about housing and community development. She has a master’s degree in business administration from Rosemont College and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from LaSalle University.
White has served as executive director of the Leon H. Sullivan Charitable Trust for the past two years, according to her LinkedIn page. She also served as office director of the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America in Philadelphia.
“We are truly proud and honored to welcome Debra to the City of Atlantic City and to have her on our team,” Chelsea EDC said in a statement on Facebook.
