I heard today with shock and deep sorrow of Earl Harvey’s sudden passing. In looking for an obituary, I came across your article and interview with Earl. For a while, I wrote a column, True Believers for Earl’s The AC Times. Getting to know him was my pleasure, He was always upbeat and warm. When I decided to stop writing, he offered to double my zero salary. Earl was one of the first people I met when moving to AC 16 years ago. I still have a copy of the issue of The Black Professionals News with a photo of me and me husband at the first event at which we met Earl. I considered him a friend and a true believer. I am among the many whose lives he touched and who will miss him. Harriet Diamond
