ATLANTIC CITY — The Hispanic Association of Atlantic County spokeswoman said Friday that the 2021 Atlantic City Latino Festival will be held at Bader Field at the end of the summer but the date is still being confirmed.

Alejandra Londono, the public relations officer for HAAC, told Front Runner La Prensa that she hopes the organization and the City of Atlantic City can confirm a date soon that will allow planning to move forward.

HAAC, which is partnering with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, held its first Latino Festival with great success in 2019, drawing more than 7,500 to Bader Field, but was cancelled last year due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

“We’re going to have music. We’re going to have food. We’re going to have dancing,” Londono said. “We will have a resource fair for family so they can access different resources in the area. That was pretty popular in 2019.”

The HAAC promotes the diverse Hispanic cultural heritage in Atlantic County while advocating for policies and educational opportunities that affect Hispanics in the area and region.
