Blexit Fest to Feature Speakers, Music on July 29

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Jarrett Branch, Brandon Tatum, Pierre Wilson and the reggae band The Burnsiders will appear at the Blexit Fest at Canale Park, 1-499 Sycamore Avenue at noon on Saturday, July 29.
“Blexit’s mission is to empower minority communities to pursue the American dream and shape their own futures,” said Neysha Parker, director for Blexit NJ in South Jersey. “We accomplish this through electric live events, thoughtful grassroots organizing and inspiring educational initiatives.”
She said Blexit also pursues criminal justice reform and highlights the importance of free markets and “entrepreneurship as the antidote to poverty.”
Blexit is calling for vendors and sponsors to participate in the event.
