Inspira Health Names Elliot Henandez to Foundation Board

MULLICA HILL — Elliot Hernandez, the chief operating officer of compliance and programming for the Puerto Rican Action Committee of Southern New Jersey, was named last week as a new trustee to the Inspira Health Foundation Board announced on April 29.
PRAC is one of the most prominent nonprofits serving the Latino community in South Jersey. Hernandez, of Pilesgrove, assists in the growth and development of Hispanic communities in Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties.
“Elliot’s community advocacy work, skill set and deep connections to stakeholders in our region will enhance the work of our foundation,” said Robin Walton, senior vice president of external affairs and chief philanthropy officer for Inspira Health, said in a statement.
Hernandez had previously served as chief of detectives for the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office. He continues to volunteer with various community organizations, earning him recognition by various groups and agencies throughout Salem County.
At the same time of Hernandez’s appointment, the Inspira Health Foundation Board of Trustees extended Gary Galloway’s appointment as chairman an additional year and appointed Kevin R. Gibala as its new vice chair.
Other appointments included Dawn Flitcraft to the Inspira Health Hospital Board, which guides the activities of Inspira’s four hospitals.

Inspira Health is a nonprofit healthcare organization that includes multiple hospitals, emergency rooms and several multi-specialty health centers among other locations in Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties.
