CHERRY HILL — The Reed Development Group is one of nation’s leaders in diversity, equity and inclusion and was highlighting by the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey during Black History Month.
Front Runner New Jersey is recognizing Reed and her company during Women’s History Month as well.

Kimberly S. Reed, the founder of the organization, told CCSNJ that she was inspired by the remarkable example of her mother, an embodiment of confidence, compassion, and brilliance.
“Her mother’s influence not only shaped Kimberly’s career in business but also her approach to leadership, grounded in confidence, purpose, and grace,” CCSNJ said. “Kimberly’s approach is deeply rooted in servant leadership, with a focus on collective progress, uplifting others, and creating inclusive spaces where everyone belongs.”
The Reed Development Group teaches organizations the importance of optimizing the DEIB (Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Belonging) Synthesis using insights that will drive breakout innovation, sustainability and success in their organizations.
The group said that shifts in workforce composition, ways of working, virtual workplace, etc. require leaders to invest in dynamic environments where team members of all levels feel accepted, empowered and energized to better address consumers, clients and suppliers.
“Her advice for aspiring Black entrepreneurs? Know your worth, honor your gifts, and stand firm in your purpose. Embrace failure as a lesson and be open to change. Leadership is about impact, and it’s about people,” CCSNJ said.
The Reed Group says it gets organizations back on track with vital and transformative tools: Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), global diversity leadership councils to govern and drive the organization’s strategy and executive leaders and sponsors to champion and revolutionize the culture.
Reed’s team includes executives in residents Erica Bennett, Keith Ellison, Marques Colston and Joseph Harvey. Nicole Cuevas serves as administrative director and bilingual facilitator.
