PLEASANTVILLE – The Society Page Publisher Jorge Restrepo announced last week that the annual Colombian Independence Day celebration will take place at 110 Tilton Road from noon to 8 p.m. on July 20.
The festival, arguably the largest honoring Colombian Independence Day in South Jersey, has become an annual staple in Atlantic County, drawing large crowds from around the region. Restrepo made the announcement at the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County meeting last week.

“This event is our fifth annual Colombian Festival and will be a wonderful opportunity to honor our Colombian roots and enjoy a day filled with food, culture, and traditions,” Restrepo said.
While the festival is free, Restrepo said he recommends registration to help them estimate the crowd to make sure they have proper resources. He said the festival remains open to sponsor opportunities and he should be contacted at The Society Page for more information.
