Hispanic Leadership Assn. To Host Networking Event in Cherry Hill on Aug. 14

CHERRY HILL — Three authors will be highlighted at the Hispanic Leadership Association of New Jersey‘s upcoming annual Business & Professional Networking Event at the Holiday Inn, 2175 Marlton Pike West from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, officials announced.
Authors Marilyn Morales, Giselle Quintanilla and Mark Cox will participate in a panel moderated by author Emilio Roman. Light refreshments will be provided, and admission is $25.
Morales is the author of “When the Answer is No, Finding Purpose Through Pain.” Quintanilla is the author of “The Pain Plan: The Blueprint for Healing from Emotional Grief in Marriage, Separation and Divorce.”

Cox is the author of “Beyond the Mat: Life Lessons in Grit, Grind and Growth.” Roman is the author of “Spiritual Fitness Survivor: How to Turn Your Struggles Into Strengths.”
The mission of the Hispanic Leadership Association is to empower Hispanics in New Jersey by facilitating civic engagement, leadership, inclusion, education and participation while promoting respect, multicultural and diversity understanding.
Johnny E. Santiago is the current HLA-NJ board president and former NJ Assemblyman Angel Fuentes, current president of the Camden City Council, is the founder.
Other HLA-NJ board members include Lisette Gonzalez, first vice president; Nydia Rosario, second vice president; Melissa Quiles, secretary; Rosemary DeQuinzio, treasurer; Mimi Nambo, Margarita Olivencia, Katherine Rivera, Argenis Calderon and Carmen Y. Rivera.
