BRIDGETON — Caiden Francis is proving it is never to early to become an entrepreneur and the 8-year-old’s business, Caiden’s Sweet Tooth, is catching the attention of residents.
Caiden makes mini pancakes and has been a hit since he started with the help of parents in May. Serving flavored lemonades and iced coffee, Caiden proudly reported at one of his recent festival outings that he “sold out of everything.”
Francis’s business is one of the vendors pointed by Stephanie Gonzalez, coordinator of Bridgeton’s Urban Enterprise Zone program. She said it felt great to give encouragement and inspiration to someone like Caiden, who is getting a head start on his future.
With Caiden’s ideas stemming from creative Sunday breakfasts and the support of family, friends, the local health department, and UEZ, the youth said the experience has been “amazing.”
Caiden said he is grateful to his customers for making it possible. Francis has taken his business a step further, announcing this month “party package” catering on social media.
“Having a party or social event? Book us and we’re sure to make all your guest have a sweet time! Call us today and we can build your Yummy Package,” said a message on Caiden’s Sweet Tooth Instagram page.
