ATLANTIC CITY – Two thousand posts!

Last week, Front Runner New Jersey quietly reached another milestone in our growth and evolution of serving you — those interested in stories about diversity and the Black and Latino communities in South Jersey — with our 2,000th post since our creation.

FRNJ is thankful for all of our readers who have found value in the news articles we publish daily. Our monthly pageviews continue to grow as we strive toward our goal of averaging 100,000 pageviews per month.

We are also grateful to all of the columnists and freelance writers who have allowed us to share their content, photos, and graphics on FrontRunnerNewJersey.com. Your work deserves to be seen by the masses, and we hope you continue to view FRNJ as a vehicle to share your words and images.

Covering SJ’s Latino community. Questions or story ideas? Contact us at chughes@acjosephmedia.com.

We are thankful for everyone who has shared their stories with us. Your stories are worthy of being heard, and FrontRunnerNewJersey.com will continue to uplift them — even in today’s climate, where some would prefer your stories not be told or believe they should be watered down. If you stand with us, we will stand with you.

This month, we will receive a community news leadership award from the Center for Cooperative Media in Trenton in recognition of our work. We have also received acknowledgments from several local NAACP chapters and two of the area’s most prominent Latino organizations — the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County and the Puerto Rican Action Committee of Southern New Jersey — for our storytelling.

We mention these not to boast, but because we are touched by these acknowledgments, especially since they come from our readers. They embolden us to continue the hard work you expect from us and make us more determined than ever to see it through.

Finally, we would like to thank all of our sponsors and advertisers, who have enabled us to pay freelancers, improve our product, and enhance our storytelling. From the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University, which awarded us our first grant, to the New Jersey Civic Information Consortium and Press Forward/The Miami Foundation, our major grant sponsors, and all others who believe our website deserves financial support — we say thank you. At the risk of forgetting someone, we have to mention Camden’s Rann Miller, our first columnist who introduced us to the Center for Cooperative Media. He saw our potential before anyone else and it’s people like Mr. Miller who are truly invaluable.

We cannot continue our efforts at this level without your backing. Please consider donating or placing an ad with us today.

Bigger things are yet to come as we expand our efforts to connect with you — our readers in South Jersey. This summer, we will host our first major gala recognizing five years of our 30 Under 40 honorees. Details are coming this month.

Today, we move forward to publish our next 2,000 articles as we remain not only committed but excited to tell your stories and share what matters to you. Let’s do this!

Thank you again. Keep reading, and share our work with others. I am sincerely grateful.
