LOGAN TOWNSHIP — U.S. Sen. Andy Kim visited Logan Township in Gloucester County on Thursday, May 28, to hear directly from residents in the community about their concerns and priorities.
Kim, a South Jersey native now serving his first term in the U.S. Senate, has spent much of his early tenure traveling the state to engage with constituents. He has also emerged as one of President Donald Trump’s most vocal critics on issues such as cuts to federal aid, diversity programs, and immigration policy.
The meeting was hosted by Logan Township Mayor Frank Minor, who also leads the South Jersey Political Black Caucus.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to host Senator Kim in Logan Township and have him speak directly to our residents and members of our business community,” Minor told Front Runner New Jersey.com.
“At this important moment for our nation, having impassioned advocates for South Jersey is paramount. Today’s visit helps bolster the relationship with Senator Kim and Logan Township, and we look forward to working together towards progress for our residents and the people of South Jersey.”
Kim has long emphasized accessibility and public dialogue. Before being sworn into the Senate, he held 81 town halls as a member of Congress. Since joining the Senate, he has held an additional 12 town halls, reaching thousands of New Jersey residents.
In the Senate, Kim serves on several key committees: the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs; the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation; the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP); the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs; and the Special Committee on Aging.
Prior to his election to the Senate, Kim represented New Jersey’s Third Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He previously worked as a career public servant in national security and diplomacy, serving at the White House, State Department, and Pentagon.
