Atlantic City NAACP To Host Virtual Candidates Forum Monday, Tuesday

ATLANTIC CITY — The Atlantic City NAACP will host its Virtual Candidates’ Forum on Monday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will be livestreamed on the branch’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NAACPAtlanticCity, NAACP’s YouTube at bit.ly/NAACPAtlanticCity and WEHA GOSPEL Radio 88.7/100.3 FM.
The forum will be a townhall-style format on the Zoom platform. Atlantic County residents and other interested community members will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates.
Candidates invited to participate on Monday include:
- Atlantic City mayor and at-large candidates
On Tuesday, candidates will include:
- Atlantic County Clerk
- Atlantic County Commissioner
- State Assembly
- State Senate
Written questions will be prepared by the Atlantic City NAACP members and no questions will be taken during the livestreamed event. Additionally, the Atlantic City NAACP members will moderate the forum.
