HAMMONTON — The Puerto Rican Civic Association announced its two-day Puerto Rican Festival which will be held Sunday, Aug. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 4.

Highlighting the great culture and leadership in South Jersey’s Hispanic community.

On Aug. 29, a Spanish Mass will be celebrated at noon at St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish Church at 226 French Street, followed by a 1:15 p.m. procession from the church to Town Hall at 100 Central Avenue for a Puerto Rico flag raising with proclamation from Hammonton’s mayor and town council.

The celebration festival will take place at the Puerto Rican Civic Association Clubhouse at 367 Old Forks Road at 3:30 p.m. with music and our Latin cuisine. It is scheduled to last until 9 p.m.

On Sept. 4, 1the celebration will continue at Puerto Rican Civic Assoc. Clubhouse from noon to 11 p.m.

An announcement on Facebook said times may be adjusted and the check for update.
