SJ Small Business Expo Set for Epicenter in Willingboro on April 27

WILLINGBORO — The South Jersey Small Business Expo V will be held at The Boro Epicenter on Thursday April 27 from 6-8 p.m., marking a number of firsts for the event.
This is the first time the event that has brought small business owners together for networking, exposure and encouragement, has moved from a local restaurant into a hall facility. The event is being hosted by The Boro Church, courtesy of Rev. Carlos Worthy and First Lady Dr. Tiffani Worthy, a Willingboro councilwoman and former mayor.
A second change is that organizers — AC JosepH Media, the parent of Front Runner New Jersey.com, and Bully Pest Management — is explicitly inviting nonprofit to participate. Nonprofits have always been invited to attend and participate in past SJSBX’s but this is the first time it is being spelled out, organizers said.
The SJSBX is being cosponsored by Diversity & Equal Opportunity Network (DEON), of Marlton, the Southern Burlington County NAACP and the Willingboro & Vicinity Branch NAACP.
Small businesses and nonprofits, along with their supporters, are invited to take part in the networking event, where they are encouraged to learn about each other and develop links to work together. Each business attending will have two minutes to talk about their businesses.
A date for the June SJSBX has been temporarily set for Thursday, June 15 in recognition of Juneteenth. The one-year anniversary for the event is temporarily set for Thursday, August 3.
