Vineland Puerto Rican Festival Calls for Miss Puerto Rico Contestants

VINELAND — The Vineland Puerto Rican Festival, Festival Puertorriqueño de Vineland, is holding an information session for those interested in participating in the 2023 Miss Puerto Rico contest on Monday, April 17.

The information meeting will take place at 410 S. 8^th Street, in Vineland at 6:30 p.m. Organizers said those interested can call 856-696-1147.

Festival Puertorriqueño de Vineland puts on the annual Puerto Rican Festival at Landis Park in Vineland annually in July. It is one of the largest festivals celebrating the Puerto Rican heritage in all of the state.

After a pause because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival returned in 2022, to huge crowds and events that have become a tradition throughout the years.

Leonides Negron is the longtime president of Festival Puertorriqueño de Vineland.
