Vineland to Dedicate ‘Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way’ on Oct. 11

VINELAND — Vineland City Council President Dr. Elizabeth Arthur will be the keynote speaker as the City of Vineland will dedicate a portion of Plum Street from West Avenue to the Boulevard as “Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way” on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m.
Vineland Mayor Anthony Fanucci is also expected to speak at the event that will be attended by city officials and invited guests. Arthur is the first African American woman to serve as Vineland city council president in its history.
The ceremony will be held adjacent to the Carl Arthur Recreation Center at the corner of Third Street and Plum Street.
