Movimiento Tricolor To Host Dominican Independence Day Gala on Feb. 17

CAMDEN — The nonprofit Movimiento Tricolor will host its second annual Dominican Independence Day Gala inside the Riverside Ballroom of the Double Tree Hilton at 6 p.m. on Feb. 17.
Movimiento Tricolor said the event embodies their mission to unite and empower, and provide resources and services to the Dominican community and the community at large.
“Join business owners, parents, residents, and allies in creating a transformative hub focused on Dominican Americans,” the organization said in a message. “The event enhances cultural awareness, fosters collaboration, and offers a unique opportunity for networking and capacity-building.
“Your participation not only contributes to the festivities but also supports our community programs, like the Dominican Cultural Music program and the expansion of Dominican Restoration Day.”
Movimiento Tricolor said the evening will include a cocktail red carpet hour, a three-course meal, an interactive 360 booth, raffle baskets, a cash bar, community honorees, and a live típico band.
