ATLANTIC CITY – The great diversity of music that represents the Hispanic diaspora will be on display at the annual Atlantic City Latino Festival on Sunday, Sept. 8 at the Showboat Hotel.

The event, put on by the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County (HAAC), is one of the largest music festivals annually recognizing Latino culture and music in New Jersey. The event, held at the Boardwalk and New Jersey Avenue, will run from noon to 9 p.m.

Hispanic Leadership and Community

The popular New York-based merengue group Oro Solido, founded by Raul Acosta, will headline the festival. Salsa, folkloric dance, mariachi and other forms of music will be featured as well.

The festival will highlight Latino-themed vendors and food, along with a resource fair.

HAAC advocates to empower and advance the inclusion of Hispanics in all sectors of Atlantic County and the State of New Jersey, all while preserving its cultural heritage.
