AACCNJ Announces Honorees for Corporate Awards Dinner at Cherry Hill

TRENTON — The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey announces the honorees for the 14th annual Corporate Awards Dinner, which will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton, Cherry Hill on Oct. 18, beginning with a cocktail reception from 6-7 p.m., followed by dinner from 7-9:30 p.m.

Each year during the month of October, the AACCNJ hosts a Corporate Awards Dinner, to honor a select number of corporations and small business owners that have made significant contributions to the success of the AACCNJ and New Jersey.

“The 2024 honorees have played a pivotal role in positioning our members, communities, and countless individuals in realizing their ambitions thus upholding the significance of capitalism and free enterprise,” said John Harmon president and CEO of the AACCNJ.

“It is through our engagement with representatives of both the private and public sectors that we forge these alliances to mitigate the systemic under performance of the over 1.2 million Black people in New Jersey.”

The 2024 Changemakers are:

*Tom Bergeron, Author, Return On Information, Media Company: ROI-NJ is the authoritative source for news and connections impacting New Jersey’s economic influencers. The Fourth Estate remains a critical pillar of our state and nation, and we are pleased to recognize Tom Bergeron for his contributions to the AACCNJ and the citizens of the state of New Jersey.

*William “Smokey” Glover, EVP/Director of Fair & Responsible Banking, Fulton Bank, N.A.: The AACCNJ is pleased to honor Fulton Bank as we continue to work together to build a stronger eco-system in underserved communities across New Jersey.
