WHM: Nancy Rivera-Sosa Shares Skills at Camden’s Hispanic Family Center of SNJ

CAMDEN — Nancy Rivera-Sosa, one of the leading Latinas in the healthcare field in South Jersey, is currently serving as interim president and treasurer for the Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey in Camden.

Front Runner La Prensa is recognizing Rivera-Sosa for Women’s History Month. Professionally, she is the vice president of trial management for oncology at Johnson & Johnson Innovative medicine.

Rivera-Sosa has served on the HFC board for more than five years. Hispanic Family Center, through its comprehensive programs and services, addresses the immediate needs (physical, mental, social, economic and political) of the residents of South Jersey.

Hispanic Leadership and Community

It has established itself as an instrument of change and a voice of power for the consumers it serves and represents. It provides a broad range of culturally relevant social service and advocacy programs that promote and encourage empowerment and self-sufficiency.

With research and healthcare experience that dates back to the 1990s, Rivera-Sosa has a proven track record of delivering high-quality and efficient clinical trials that support an organization’s portfolio of innovative therapies.

She has extensive experience leading high-performing teams, contributed to the success of diverse clinical programs, and provided valuable insights to support business growth and development.


“My mission is to leverage my expertise and insights to advance the science and business of clinical operations, and ultimately, to improve the lives of patients,” Rivera-Sosa says on her LinkedIn Page.

Hispanic Family Center offers more than 20 programs including employment and training programs, ESL/civics, health education and prevention services, mental health services,

senior services, substance use disorder treatment and energy assistance programs.

Each year the Hispanic Family Center serves 10,000 individuals and families.
