Power Conference to Highlight Small Business Success in Uncertain Times

NEWARK – Influential business leaders Natalie Madeira Cofield and Calvin Reed will keynote the “Power Breakfast” and “Power Lunch” sessions at the 2025 Small Business Pro Power Conference on Friday, July 25 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
The annual conference brings together small businesses owners, leaders and advocates from around the region together for a summit on learning best practices, networking and gaining knowledge about the country’s small business climate today.
The Power Breakfast and Power Luncheon portions of the conference are meant to “supercharge” the day of the participants, organizers said.
Cofield is the chief executive officer of AEO, the leading voice of innovation for entrepreneurship and small business, will be the morning breakfast keynote speaker at the Small Business Pro Power Conference at NJPAC on Friday, July 25.
Cofield, who will appear at the Nico Kitchen + Bar at NJPAC, has been named one of the most powerful women in business by Entrepreneur Magazine.
The breakfast will be followed by two breakout sessions following the Power Breakfast. Nakeicha Wilson, a business consultant at Alexander Skye Group, will facilitate a panel on financial management from A-Z and Ervin Hughes, president of American Credit Assurance LLC, will lead a 10x Growth Accelerator strategy session.

Precious L. Williams, “The Killer Pitch Master” and “Rainmaking Speaker,” will serve as emcee of the conference. She is an international speaker, 5x best-selling author, and corporate sales trainer who has appeared on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” CNN, “Wall Street Journal”, CNBC, Forbes, Black Enterprise Magazine, and slayed two TEDx talks.
Her methods have empowered clients to secure millions in pitch competition winnings, secured lucrative speaking engagements, and she has helped countless Fortune 500 companies outperform their competition.
Reed is the business owner and executive vice president of New Africa Development Corporation. He was a co-founder of Connection Communications Corporation, Newark’s original cable franchise.
The Power Lunch will be followed by two breakout sessions. Andrew Frazier, MBA, CFA, of “The Masterpreneur” and founder of Small Business Pro University, will facilitate a panel on
Financing Your Business Faster and Easier.
Jessica Spaulding, president and CEO of the Harlem Chocolate Factory, will discuss strategies for “Networking and Marketing Your Business.” She has been featured in Forbes
magazine, entrepreneur.com, and the Kate Spade Foundation.
