GALLOWAY – As director of Stockton University’s Office of Global Engagement, Dr. Patricia Sagasti Suppes is one of the highest ranking Latinas at the institution.

Sagasti Suppes brings a global lens and a social?justice focus to Stockton University, where she where she also serves as Stockton’s Senior International Officer. She has become one of the region’s most influential voices in international education, helping Stockton expand its global partnerships and broaden opportunities for students to engage with the world.

Sagasti Suppes oversees Stockton’s international programs, study?abroad initiatives, and cross?cultural partnerships. Her work centers on making global learning accessible to all students, including first?generation and multilingual learners.

 She is known for promoting ethical international engagement, cultural humility, and decolonization strategies in study?abroad programming.

Sagasti Suppes holds a doctorate and master’s from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an A.B. from Sweet Briar College. Before joining Stockton, she led global education efforts at Hartwick College and worked as a consultant supporting nonprofits and companies in equity training, internationalization, and project design.

She is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, a foundation that continues to shape her global perspective.

A Voice for Equity and Global Citizenship

Sagasti Suppes is widely recognized for her commitment to social justice, intercultural communication, and inclusive global learning. She has authored academic work, presented internationally, and helped Stockton strengthen its role as a globally engaged public institution. Her leadership continues to expand opportunities for South Jersey students to connect with the wider world.
