ATLANTIC CITY — The Atlantic City Latino Festival, one of largest celebrations of Hispanic entertainment and food in New Jersey will have a new home in September when it moves to the Showboat Hotel from Bader Field.
Bert Lopez, president of the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County, told Front Runner New Jersey last Saturday at the Latino Festival will become a two-day outdoor celebration taking place next to the massive new Island Waterpark next to Atlantic City’s famed Boardwalk.
The Latino Festival is currently set for Sept. 23-24. Lopez promised additional information is coming soon on updated information.
After cancellation because of COVID-19, the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County started ramping back up the AC Latino Music Festival in 2021 but last September more than 4,500 showed up even before the headline entertainer.
The Showboat Hotel is also establishing itself as one of the leading venues for top events involving communities of color. The Showboat also hosts The Black Excellence Festival during Juneteenth weekend.
