ATAP Honors Willingboro Community Leaders at Annual Kwanzaa Awards Gala

WILLINGBORO — All Things Are Possible Foundation (ATAP), will hold the third annual ATAP Community Service Awards on Friday (Dec. 8), recognizing the contributions and achievements of Burlington County residents and business leaders who help empower our youth and enhance our community.
The honorees, which include Willingboro & Vicinity NAACP President William Weston and Willingboro Police Department Lt. Don Bankston, will be highlighted at the 2023 ATAP Community Service Awards & Kwanzaa Gala on Friday, December 8, 2023 at The Madison located at 33 Lafayette Street, in Riverside.
“We often forget to pause and reflect on the good work that is accomplished in our community,” said Dr. Tiffani Worthy, ATAP Co-Founder and CEO. “ATAP encourages the entire community to share what residents, volunteers, and businesses and civic organizations and their leaders have done to make a difference — and to thank them for their contributions.”
Nominations were accepted and reviewed by the awards committee. The 2023 ATAP Kwanzaa Community Service Award Honorees are:
- Courageous Leadership Award: Darlene Trappier, Beacon of Hope, Inc.
- Perseverance: Righteous Earth
- Building for the Future: Hon. Nat Anderson
- Understanding & Cooperation: Linda Orsuto, Lola’s Menagerie
- Humility & Strength: William A. Weston, President, NAACP Willingboro & Vicinity
- ATAP Scholar: Deputy Mayor Laila Arzeez, Student
- Faith & Trust: Audrey Lynette Butler, Alpha Baptist Church of Willingboro
- Peace & Unity: Lieutenant Don Bankston, Willingboro Police Department
- Hope & Inspiration: Chimere Nicole Haskins
