NJ Ethics and Equity Conference Holds Luncheon on Jan. 20, Conference on Jan. 25

BURLINGTON — The New Jersey Ethics and Equity Conference will hold a Pre-Conference Luncheon on at the Quaker Meeting House, 340 High Street, in Burlington, from 1-3:30 p.m. on Monday, January 20.
Dr. Pauline Harris-Lloyd, owner of the Islay Walden Education Alliance, will be the keynote speaker and LaVonia Abavana, the family mentor at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, will be the guest speaker.
“Join the Islay Walden Education Alliance for an intimate luncheon to network, preview key conference themes and engage with fellow advocates and thought leaders.”
The cost of the luncheon is $60.
“In honor of the life and legacy of Dr. King, I would like to invite each of you to the upcoming Ethics and Equity Pre-Conference Luncheon and Conference,” Lloyd said in an email. “This inaugural conference is the start of a renewed commitment to civil discourse, civic engagement, human affirmation, and democratic values.
“With a focus on seven humanitarian areas, this is the only conference in the state that brings together experts in each area to discuss present conditions and a plan forward.”
The Ethics and Equity Conference will be held on Jan. 25 , from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary. The cost of the conference is $120.
