Creative Change Counseling to Host Inaugural Christian Jackson Walk

BORDENTOWN — Creative Change Counseling Inc. (CCC), a leading behavioral and mental healthcare provider with multiple locations throughout New Jersey and beyond, will host its inaugural Christian Jackson Walk for Wellness 5K to promote mental health awareness and raise funds for the Christian Jackson Scholarship Fund.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 3, from 8:30 a.m.-noon at Crystal Lake Park, 2401 Axe Factory Road, in Mansfield. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and opening ceremony at 9 a.m.
Participants will complete two loops of the circuit on the solid pathway, which takes approximately 60 minutes to complete.
“At Creative Change Counseling, we believe in addressing mental health needs holistically, withincluding the vital connection between physical and mental wellness,” said Shelja Touri, Community Outreach and Events Coordinator. “Our Community Wellness Walk embodies our mission of ‘Inspiring Hope and Changing Lives, One Family at a Time’ while honoring Christian Jackson’s legacy by supporting future mental health professionals through the scholarship fund that bears his name.”
Participants will enjoy a scenic walk route, wellness stations offering mental health resources, and opportunities to learn about CCC’s nine diverse programs, including:

- Substance Use Disorder Treatment
- Intensive In-Community Therapy
- Behavioral Assistance Services
- The Spot Teen Development Center
- We Rock The Spectrum Kids Gym
- The HUB Restorative Justice Program
- Mobile Therapy Services
- Therapeutic Support for Families
