Juneteenth: Evesham to Celebrate on Friday, Palmyra Event Moved to Same Day

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP – Evesham Township will join the plethora of Juneteenth celebrations on Friday, June 20, while Tri-city celebration in Palmyra was moved from Thursday to the same date, officials said.
Evesham’s annual Juneteenth celebration will take place at Savich Field, 510 Main Street, from 5-8 p.m., highlighted by a performance from the Universal African Dance and Drum ensemble.

There will be music, food and resource vendors, a gaming truck, games for children, and other performances. For more information, contact 856-985-4338.
The Palmyra-Riverton-Cinnaminson Juneteenth Celebration in Palmyra has been moved to its rain day of Friday, June 20. Officials made the announcement with an updated calendar on Thursday.

Another Juneteenth event, scheduled for Sunday, June 22, at Beth El Synagogue, in Voorhees, has been cancelled, officials told Front Runner New Jersey earlier this week. No other details were available at the time.
