NJBIZ Honors Melissa Fox With Executive Excellence Award

SOMERSET – NJBIZ, one of the leading business magazines in New Jersey, named South Jersey’s Melissa Fox as one of its inaugural recipients of its Executive Excellence Award on Thursday.
Fox is the chief operating officer of Acenda Integrated Health in Glassboro and one of the leading minority health care officials in the state. Fox was the only African American woman in South Jersey to be named to the list.

Fox has a distinguished 20-plus year career leading operations management, innovation, strategic growth, partnerships, and development for various types of healthcare organizations. A 2014 LEADERSHIP Philadelphia alum, Fox is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Medical Group Management Association and is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

She has served as an expert speaker for organizations including the National Healthcare for the Homeless Council, National Nursing Centers Consortium, Philadelphia Social Innovations Journal, Philadelphia Housing Authority, and the Health Center and Public Housing Symposium.
NJBIZ’s Executive Excellence Award recognizes c-suites, directors, vice presidents, owners and other senior-level executives who consistently demonstrated remarkable leadership skills, integrity, values, vision, commitment to excellence, company performance and community service, the magazine said.
