DEPTFORD — Fasola Park in Deptford Township was Front Runner New Jersey’s first stop of Juneteenth celebration visits as we attended the Gloucester County NAACP festival.
U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross, Deptford Township councilman Wayne Love and The Perfecting Church pastor Rev. Kevin Brown were just a few of the dignitaries in attendance. Tiffany Walker-Winters, a Monroe Public Schools board member and an active board member with the Gloucester County NAACP, organized the second annual celebration.
There was a softball game between the NAACP and the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s office as vendors served the crowd in an open field at Fasola Park. Below are a few picture from the event.
