Delta Sigma Theta Hosts Authors & Artists Expo

CHERRY HILL — Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., South Jersey Alumnae Chapter, Arts and Letters Committee will host an Authors and Artists Expo at the Croft Farm Art Center, 100 Bortons Mills Road, from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.
Organizers said the afternoon will be full of art, literature and food would be provided by local food truck vendors.
“If you love art and books as much as we do, we invite you to join us for our Authors and Artists Expo,” a statement on the South Jersey Alumnae Facebook page said.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a historically African American sorority, founded by college-educated women at Howard University dedicated to public service with an emphasis on programs that assist the African American community. The South Jersey Alumnae Chapter is one of more than 1,000 chapters nationwide.
The South Jersey Alumnae Chapter was chartered on June 29, 1969, by 19 to serve the needs of the communities in Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. The chapter is committed to making a positive impact on those communities.
