ATLANTIC CITY — The Atlantic City National Day of Prayer will conduct its community-wide service through the 48-block stretch of the city at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 5.
All faiths are welcome to participate in the event, where a local faith-based leader will be stationed across Atlantic Avenue at each block of the city. Mimi Nambo said participants should wear yellow clothing to identify themselves as participants in the prayer event.
Organizers said participants will take part if five minutes of prayer start at 5 p.m. Participants should arrive at about 4:45 p.m.
“Together, lets experience the power of prayer,” said a message on a flyer promoting the event.
