Cultural Collective Cafe & Brick N Kulture Event Space Serve as Inspiration

WOODBURY — “Hello and welcome to the Cultural Collective Cafe” is a greeting you may hear when entering the Cultural Collective Café.
Sadiyyah Maamoon-Means created The Cultural Collective Cafe & BrickNKulture Events Space in July 2020 and opened up the space in October of that year. Maamoon-Means, a Glassboro native, is a businesswoman with a dynamic vision as a graduate of Delaware State University and a full-time realtor.
Her idea became reality at the height of the pandemic. Maamoon-Means, who won an honor from the Glassboro Orchid Club last May for her work, was looking for a space that was uniquely different. Before owning the space, the venue was an artisan market/espresso bar.
Even though you may see this venue as an event space, BrickNKulture is way more than just a venue. It is a warm, colorful, and inviting cultural cafe/workspace that welcomes productivity. This versatile space is “small on the eyes, and big on the vibes.”
“I wanted to be very intentional and have a representation for people of color,” Mamoon-Means said.
Located right in the heart of Downtown Woodbury, it is an area filled with much potential. This cafe and event space brings networking and connections to Gloucester County in South Jersey.
Having the Cultural Collective Cafe, you are able to bring opportunities to Woodbury that would be different from what is already existing. The Cultural Collective Cafe is the home of many private black-owned food products.
Some of the black-owned treats you may enjoy at the Cafe are mini pound cakes, muffins, doughnuts, specialty drinks of cappuccinos, lattes, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a variety of more snacks to enjoy.
Throughout the year, The Cultural Collective Cafe hosts a plethora of different events. Some of them include Coffee and Conversation networking events, art exhibits, candle making classes, book signings, conferences with versatile speakers, Farmers Markets, Pop-Up Shops, and much more.
“I want people to feel comfortably motivated with a nice experience to work and feel good in a nice atmosphere,” Mamoon-Means said. She said she prides herself on having events that are influential to her community through health and wellness.
This space is genuinely one in which you can enjoy many occasions. Whether it is to study and work on individual projects, or explore new events in the area, the Cultural Collective Cafe is the new hotspot for Gloucester County.
