Front Runner New Jersey highlights African-American leadership and achievement in South Jersey. In today’s political and cultural climate, sharing positive stories on black leaders from all walks of life, events and issues are needed more than ever. FRNJ fills that gap, highlighting people, events, subjects and commentaries that brings the black experience in South Jersey to life in a way that is not being done now.

FRNJ takes a “hyperlocal” approach to its features, commentaries and other posts, presenting articles in a way that are also appealing to audiences across southern New Jersey. Inspired by years in the journalism field, FRNJ makes for a unique, informative blog that exposes its readers to a wide range of positive African-American influencers, events and issues in the region.

Simply put, local news outlets, especially minority-focused outlets, are dying off or being gobbled up by bigger companies that care less about such news. Ebony? Jet? Bloomberg reported this past September how these shrinking newsrooms will leave you without the important stories FRNJ provides now.

In the Future
If you like what you have seen so far, we are just scratching the surface of Front Runner New Jersey. We will soon launch a podcast, a streaming video show and a newsletter under the FRNJ banner. In the long term, AC JosepH Media, FRNJ’s parent group, has future plans to grow the Front Runner brand to new areas, states and regions. Recognizing the need to shine a positive spotlight on other diverse groups and highlight inclusion, Front Runner plans to create platforms that will engage Latinos, women and more.
AC JosepH Media was founded by award-winning veteran journalist Clyde Hughes. The company taps into new and underserved markets that deserve high-quality media services. These include, but not limited to, news releases, web content, professionally-written articles, biographies, grant writing, documentaries, annual reports, books, ghostwriting, and more.
