CAPE MAY – The Cape May County NAACP announced this week a partnership with the Center for Community Arts and Cape May Radio, WCFA-FM, 101.5, to produce the radio program “The Flavor,” which will air 6-7 p.m. on Mondays.
“[The Flavor] is an eclectic mixture of music and talk that excites the palate,” said Cape May County NAACP president Quenette Vasser-McNeal. “Founded and hosted by Cape May County NAACP, ‘The Flavor’ is committed to informing, educating and empowering our listeners on issues that matter.”
Vasser-McNeal said the show will feature music, discussion and interviews with seasoned and new leaders. She said each guest “will share their own recipes for life.”
Mike Dempsey. “DJ Drumatic,” a native of Cape May, is an NAACP member and the deejay for “The Flavor.”
“Without Mike, NAACP would not have a show,” Vasser-McNeal said. “CMC NAACP is ever so grateful for Mike volunteering countless hours to this project.”
