Ellis, the owner of the Raven’s Reserve Mobile Bartending comes out of her own interest in running events and hospitality, where talent as a bartender fueled her interest to go out on her own and put her own touch on the industry.

“Drawing upon my existing expertise and experience, I identified this industry as a natural fit for my skill set and aspirations,” Ellis told Front Runner New Jersey in her 5 Questions Business profile.

“Within the realm of bartending, I find immense joy in channeling my creativity through the art of mixology, where I delight in crafting a diverse array of libations, ranging from intricate cocktails to refreshing mocktails. This convergence of event planning prowess and mixology proficiency has not only fueled my professional journey, but also enabled me to imbue my work with a unique blend of innovation and finesse.”

In response to FRNJ, Ellis said she saw great value in having positive African American role models in small businesses.

“The presence of positive Black role models within the business community holds immense significance,” Ellis said. “Irrespective of one’s professional domain, the influence of individuals or organizations that serve as sources of inspiration and knowledge is invaluable.”

By founding my own business, I am dedicated to channeling my unwavering commitment, dedication, and perseverance into an endeavor that not only fosters personal growth, but also lays the foundation for generational prosperity within my family. Furthermore, the prospect of owning a business offers the invaluable benefit of autonomy and flexibility, enabling me to strike a harmonious balance between nurturing my business aspirations and cherishing precious moments with my children.
