Mosaic Networking Group Looks To Warm Up Connections

CHERRY HILL — It was bitterly cold with some snow in Cherry Hill on Friday night, Dec. 20, but the Mosaic Networking Group was full steam ahead with its event at 1209 S. Union Avenue.
The group is looking forward to warming up the networking scene for the Black community and other people of color in South Jersey.
“On behalf of the entire Mosaic Group team, Jamwe would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for attending our holiday party,” the group said in an email on Monday. “Despite the inclement weather, your presence made the event a memorable success, and we truly appreciate your support and participation.”
The Mosaic Networking Group was started by three African American attorneys in the South Jersey area—David T. Garnes, a family lawyer in Cherry Hill; James R. Fridie III, founder of the Fridie Law Group in Voorhees; and Andre Norwood, Jr., who practices out of Sicklerville.
“The reason that we started the networking group was to address a need that we saw for professionals from diverse backgrounds to connect with each other socially, and in doing so, to expand their respective professional networks,” the group told Front Runner New Jersey.com in an email.
“It is our hope that in facilitating these connections, we will be able to connect members of the community to the professionals that can assist them with services that they need, and in turn, to help these professionals to reach their full potential.”
According to the group’s Facebook page, the Mosaic Networking Group sponsored a lunch buffet at Essie’s Restaurant in Clementon in October, and a Holiday Happy Hour last December. The group said in their message their plans to bring people together will continue into 2025.
On Friday, ArchieEra Entertainment out of Sicklerville helped “bring this event to life.”
“As we wrap up the year, we are filled with gratitude for your continued support,” the group said. “We look forward to seeing you again in 2025 and wish you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!”
