CLAYTON — April Ward is the CEO and Owner, alongside her husband James, of Creative Content OnDemand and Fruition Life Media, two New Jersey-based media companies dedicated to strategic storytelling and high-quality video production.
With more than 25 years of experience in broadcast television, journalism, and media marketing, April specializes in helping individuals, brands, and organizations craft powerful, audience-focused stories that drive meaningful connection and measurable growth.
Together, April and James have earned multiple Telly Awards for Creative Content OnDemand’s outstanding video production projects, reflecting their shared commitment to excellence in visual storytelling.
She began her career in one of the nation’s top four television news markets, earning an Emmy Award for her work at CBS 3 Philadelphia. She also received multiple honors from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters and Telly Awards for her work with WYBE TV 35 Independent Public Television, solidifying her reputation for excellence in storytelling and production.
Ward is the co-host of the BizTalk Unlocked podcast, where she and James empower entrepreneurs and business leaders through authentic conversations and practical insight.
A graduate of Widener University, Ward is a respected communicator and community leader. She currently serves as a board member of the Clayton Public School District Board of Education and is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and the Gloucester County NAACP.
She is passionate about storytelling, family legacy, and meaningful connections. The Wards are proud parents of two children, Ashley and Nolan, as well as their dog, Spirit.
