MTC to Celebrate Dominican Restoration Day on Sunday, Aug. 16

CAMDEN — Movimiento Tricolor announced that it is prepared for its annual Dominican Restoration Day Parade and Concert on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Wiggins Waterfront Park.
Dominican Restoration Day has quickly become of the largest celebration of Domincan culture in South Jersey. The celebration will run from noon to 7 p.m.
“We are inviting YOU to be part of this incredible celebration of culture, community, and pride,” organizers said in a social media post recently. “Do you know a group, organization, business, school, or community member who wants to showcase their culture, talents, and community spirit? We welcome everyone to join our parade.”
The free parade and concert is a family-friendly event and families are encouraged to take part in both. The parade will include floats, music, and “the full energy of a community coming together in pride.”
