WOODBURY – Businesswoman Sadiyyah Maamoon-Means has been named president-elect of the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers for 2027-28.

Maamoon-Means is an award-winning real estate professional, and community leader whose work has helped strengthen economic empowerment, homeownership, and cultural development throughout South Jersey. She is the founder and owner of The Cultural Collective Café and BrickNKulture Events Space in downtown Woodbury.

“This is an incredible opportunity to continue serving, leading, advocating, and creating pathways to homeownership and generational wealth within our communities,” Maamoon-Means said on social media.

“I’m fully committed to NAREB’s mission of Democracy in Housing. As many of you know, my passion extends far beyond real estate. It’s about community, empowerment, and creating opportunities for us all to thrive.”

The Cultural Collective Café is recognized as Gloucester County’s first Black woman-owned coffee shop, while BrickNKulture has become a hub for community engagement, entrepreneurship, cultural programming, and support for Black-owned businesses.

The Southern New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers is a professional organization dedicated to advancing homeownership, economic empowerment, and fair housing opportunities throughout Southern New Jersey.

As a local affiliate of NAREB, the nation’s oldest African American real estate trade association, the chapter brings together real estate professionals, mortgage lenders, developers, housing counselors, appraisers, investors, and community advocates committed to expanding access to property ownership and wealth-building opportunities.

Serving communities across Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem counties, the Southern New Jersey Chapter works to address disparities in homeownership while promoting education, advocacy, professional development, and community engagement.

Through networking events, workshops, seminars, and outreach initiatives, the chapter equips both industry professionals and prospective homeowners with the tools and resources necessary to navigate today’s changing real estate landscape.

Maamoon-Means is a graduate of Delaware State University, where she earned a bachelor’s in finance and banking. She also earned her MBA from Wilmington University. Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, she held leadership and administrative positions at institutions including Drexel University, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, The University of Pennsylvania, and Rowan University.
