HAAC Names 2024 Scholarship Winners

ATLANTIC CITY – During the Hispanic Association of Atlantic City’s Nuestro Pueblo Awards on Thursday (July 18), the organization presented its three scholarship winners for 2024.
Recognized at the event were Adrian Contreras, of Egg Harbor Township High School, Tiffany Caballero, of Atlantic City High School and Allison Osorio Giraldo, of Absegami High School.
Contreras, who graduated with EHT with a 4.0 GPA, plans to attend Rutgers University where he will major in mechanical engineering.
Caballero graduated from ACHS with a 4.1 GPA and will be attending Penn State University. She said she will pursue a career as a general surgeon.
Giraldo graduated from Absegami with a 4.0 GPA. She will be attending Stockton University where she will pursue civil engineering.
“HAAC is thrilled to award scholarships for three outstanding graduating seniors to be used towards a college/university or postsecondary school of their choice,” HAAC said in a statement on their website.
“As an organization dedicated to fostering the development of future Hispanic leaders , we are proud to support these talented individuals in their educational journey.”
HAAC offered a special thank you to business owner Evan Sanchez and the Renn-Sanches Family Fund for hosting a table for the scholarship winners at the Nuestro Pueblo gala.
