Hopson, Corbett Among Honorees at ATAP Kwanzaa Community Awards; Event Dec. 6

WILLINGBORO – Burlington County Commission Felicia Hopson and Curate Noir owner Nika Corbett are among the honorees for the All Things Are Possible Community Service Awards & Kwanzaa Gala on Friday, Dec. 6 at The Merion, 1301 Route 130 in Cinnaminson.
Tickets are on sale at Kwanzaa Community Service Awards.
The awards, which have quickly become one of the anticipated highlights of holiday season, honor those in the Burlington County are given themselves to youth and public service. The All Things Are Possible foundation is committed to embodying its mission to empower the youth and to enhance the community.
The Kwanzaa Community Service Awards brings together all aspects of our community: residents, businesses, organizations, religious leaders, and civic organizations from every demographic to celebrate our greatness.
Hopson will receive the Courageous Leadership Award for ATAP. She won re-election to another term to the Burlington County Board of Commissioners in a competitive race where she received the most votes, A cancer survivor and tireless public servant, Hopson has developed a reputation of responding to the voiceless in the community.
Corbett will receive the Understanding and Cooperation Award. Her Curate Noir store in Moorestown Mall, which promotes and sales items from small Black-owned businesses has been a gathering point for inspiring business owners and a cultural touchstone for those interested in business and diversity in South Jersey.

*Building For the Future Award: Lori Wilson, Latimani Morgan and Tatiauna Morgan, of Willingboro Recreation Competition Cheerleading
*Faith and Trust Award: Rev. Dr. Danny E. Scotton Sr. and First Lady Linda L. Scotton, Alpha Baptist Church
*Hope and Inspiration Award: Jasmine Poole, founder of JP Elite and educator
*Humility and Strength Award: Adrain Jones
*Peace and Unity Award: Donte Milligan, Doane Academy
*Perseverance Award: Lance Muhammad, The Supreme Sweets Dessert Shop, Nation of Islam Delaware Valley Regional Secretary, School Principal
“A community must reflect and celebrate the impact so many people and organizations make for the betterment of the community and the sacrifices they make for the greater good,” Dr. Tiffani Worthy, ATAP Co-Founder and CEO, said in a statement.
“This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to do just that, and ATAP encourages the entire community to join us in celebrating and expressing our gratitude.”
For nearly two decades, ATAP has offered developmental programs that uplift and empower students to attain greatness. The nonprofit’s mission is to empower youth and to enhance the community through academics, athletics, arts, and awareness in response to critical youth and community needs.
ATAP co-founder and CEO Dr. Tiffani Worthy is a West Point graduate and decorated combat veteran who earned a doctorate in education.
