WOODBURY — Some of South Jersey’s leading Black male real estate entrepreneurs will share insights on building wealth and legacy during the Men Investing in Real Estate (MIRE) event, taking place from 5–8 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at the BrickNKulture Event Space, 65 North Broad Street.
Mark Ellis Sr., founder and owner of the South Jersey-based Ellis Realty Group, will be joined by Avery Ruff, past president of the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers; Marcus Williams, real estate investor and founder of the Black Investor Group (BIG); and Jabari Adams, commercial real estate agent and NJEDA Small Business Services representative.

The event, presented by the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, is open to men only, organizers said.
“Join us for an evening of networking and men’s real talk in real estate,” organizers said in an announcement posted on Facebook. “Fuel your mind with strategy, mentorship and powerful connections.”
Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Dinner is included.
“Representation matters,” Ellis told Front Runner New Jersey.com. “Black realtors often understand the cultural, financial, and historical barriers that many minority families face because many of us have either experienced them personally or seen them within our own communities.
“That understanding helps build trust and communication. It also allows us to advocate more effectively for our clients while helping them navigate a process that can sometimes feel intimidating.”
