CLEMENTON – Vanessa Woods, CEO of the South Jersey Coping Clinic, will be the keynote speaker at the Mosaic Networking Group monthly gathering at Essie’s Restaurant and Lounge, 1 Garfield Avenue, from 5-9 p.m., on Thursday, July 16.
The networking event, which includes a complimentary buffet, was created to offer people of color a regular avenue to connect.

Located at 751 NJ-73, Unit 11, in Marlton, Woods owns a mental health practice servicing Marlton and Cherry Hill. It is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. through the week and closed on the weekends.
“During the evening, she will share valuable insights on: the therapy process and why it is so important, looking beyond therapy as only a response to problems, understanding yourself and building a life of contentment, breaking negative generational patterns without breaking the bank, practical ways to prioritize mental wellness for yourself, your family, and your community,” Mosaic Networking said in a statement.
Woods is a licensed professional counselor in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has more than a decade of experience in the mental health field. She received her master’s in counseling psychology at Holy Family University and a master’s in Healthcare Compliance from Drexel University.
Before leading the Coping Center, Woods was engaged in human services ranging from inpatient, correctional facilities, methadone clinics, school-based programs and creating curriculum for homelessness programs.
Her clinic serves couples, families, children, and individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, or any individuals who are feeling stuck.
“Whether you’re an entrepreneur, business professional, community leader, or simply looking to expand your network, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere while enjoying great food and engaging conversation,”
