Statewide Hispanic Chamber Celebrates Honorees at Gala

PATERSON — The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce honored individuals and businesses at its annual gala at The Brownstone in Paterson on Thursday, Dec. 9.
The chamber has been around for more than a quarter-century, acting as the voice for some 70,000 Hispanic-owned businesses that contribute more than $10 billion to the New Jersey economy.
Winners of the 2021 award from the Statewide Hispanic Chamber included:
- Rising Star of the Year Award: Jessica Gonzalez, Esq., Cannabis and Intellectual Property Attorney at Hiller, PC
- Business of the Year Award: La Fortaleza Restaurant
- President’s Award: Joseph Dominguez, CEO at ComEd
- Partner of the Year: New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA)
- Latina Trailblazer of the Year Award: Marlene Cintron-SBA Administrator- Region 2

The chamber is a voluntary membership network of individuals, businesses, Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and professional associations across New Jersey. The Chamber has been actively
involved with various local organizations as well as the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
